Flora & Co. — How we handle your information.

This privacy policy describes how Flora & Co. collects, uses, and stores personal information when you visit our website or make a purchase. We keep this policy short and direct—no legal language that obscures what we actually do with your data.

What we collect

When you place an order, we collect the information you provide:

  • Name, email address, shipping and billing address, and phone number
  • Payment information (processed through our payment gateway, not stored by us)
  • Order history and product preferences

When you browse our site, we collect basic usage data:

  • Pages visited and time spent
  • Device type and browser information
  • Referring website or search terms

We collect this using cookies and similar tracking tools. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect parts of the checkout experience.

How we use your information

We use your data for these specific purposes:

  • Order fulfillment: Processing payments, shipping products, and providing order confirmations and tracking updates
  • Customer support: Responding to emails and resolving issues with your order
  • Improving our products: We review order patterns and support emails to identify quality issues or gaps in our offerings
  • Internal reporting: Basic analytics to understand which products and pages are most relevant

We do not use your data for any automated decision-making or profiling. We do not run retargeting ads or share your data with ad networks.

What we don’t do with your data

  • We don’t sell or rent your personal information to third parties
  • We don’t share your data with marketing agencies or data brokers
  • We don’t use your information for predictive modelling or customer scoring
  • We don’t send promotional emails unless you explicitly opt in

Data storage and security

We use Shopify as our e-commerce platform. Your data is stored on Shopify’s secure servers, which are compliant with industry standards for payment processing and data protection. We do not store payment card details on our own servers—all payments are routed directly through Shopify Payments or the payment method you choose at checkout.

We retain your order data for as long as we need to fulfill warranty claims, process returns, and maintain order history. If you request deletion of your personal data, we will remove it except for records required for tax or legal compliance.

Cookies and tracking

We use a minimal set of cookies:

  • Session cookies to keep you logged in during checkout
  • Analytics cookies to track page visits and referral sources (via Shopify analytics)

We do not use third-party tracking scripts from Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar services. Our analytics are built into the Shopify platform and anonymised wherever possible.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate our store. Each of these services processes data according to their own privacy policies:

  • Shopify: E-commerce platform, payment processing, and order management
  • Shipping carriers: USPS, FedEx, and UPS for order delivery
  • Email service: We use Shopify’s built-in email system for order confirmations and support replies only

We do not share your data with any other third parties unless required by law.

Your rights

You can:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request corrections to any inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Opt out of any non-essential communications at any time

To make a request, email us at Support@floraco.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will respond within 14 days.

One thing to note: Because we keep support conversations on record to track product quality, deleting your personal data means we also remove the history of your past support emails. If you later contact us again, we won’t have that previous context. We’ll still help, but we’ll start from scratch.

Children’s data

Our products are intended for adult use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe we have collected such data, contact us and we will remove it immediately.

International transfers

We are based in the United States. Your data is stored on servers located in the U.S. If you are accessing our site from outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. We do not have any operations or data storage outside the U.S.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We will not make changes that retroactively reduce your privacy rights without notifying you directly.
